DM Motors Denmark A/S starts

In 2008, DM Motors Danmark A/S started as a collaboration with Dutchi Motors BV in the Netherlands.

Dutchi Motors BV had been engaged in the production and distribution of electric motors for more than 35 years. At the same time, the three co-owners of DM Motors had together over 30 years of experience to draw on in sales and consulting.

The idea was to sell with direct delivery from the Dutch warehouse, and only have a small warehouse in Denmark of small engines.

New stragegy

After 2 years, we had to change our strategy when Dutchi Motors BV was sold to another company in 2010.

We started direct import of all engines and expanded our warehouse, which meant that we have had to expand with two warehouses. The last one is finished now and provides 500 extra pallet spaces.

The three co-owners bought back the shares, so it was 100% owned by Rasmus Lundsgaard Jensen, Keld Johannessen and Kim Christensen.

The Danish financial newspaper Børsen, has every year since 1995 identified Denmark’s growth elite, and the gazelle has over time become of part of the Danish language as a synonym for growing Companies.

Briefly, the definition of a gazelle is: a company that has had continuous growth in revenue or gross profit over the past four financial years, and which, taken together, has more than doubled its revenue or gross profit in the period.

The selection is carried out by Greens Research Institute. The criteria are objective and based on data from Soliditet A/S.

Here we can offer directly to our Chinese customers. But especially also Danish companies that have moved their production there and who want the same high level of service and good cooperation that we offer our customers in Denmark and Europe.
